Occupational Health & Safety Policy
PURPOSE
As the L’etoile Beach Hotel and its staff, we aim to be a leader in occupational health and safety at both the national and international levels, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the principles of the circular economy, and to continuously improve and elevate our occupational health and safety performance to the highest level.
SCOPE;
This policy,
- The L’etoile Beach Hotel,
- The L’etoile Beach Hotel has all its staff
- It covers staff covered by contracts with suppliers, contractors, subcontractors and other organisations. It undertakes to comply with the requirements set out in this policy and expects its employees to do the same.
To achieve our objectives;
- To comply with other relevant national and international requirements beyond the current statutory occupational health and safety legislation, and to continuously review and improve our occupational health and safety management system,
- At our workplace, we aim to identify all occupational health and safety risks and near-miss incidents arising from our activities that could adversely affect our employees’ health or undermine their motivation; to continuously carry out and update risk assessments using a proactive approach; and to prevent work-related accidents and occupational diseases,
- Eliminating hazards and minimising health and safety risks, being prepared for emergencies (e.g. fire, flood, earthquake, explosion, etc.), ensuring, safeguarding and improving workplace safety, raising awareness, and procuring the necessary resources in line with best practice techniques to enable a rapid response in emergencies, as well as ensuring that continuous improvement is supported through training,
- To ensure the participation, communication and consultation of employees, employee representatives and all our stakeholders in the planning, implementation, performance assessment and enhancement, as well as the continuous improvement and development of our Occupational Health and Safety Management System in line with the principles of sustainability;
